VanPooling is a low-cost alternative to your employees driving alone to work. If you choose to subsidize a VanPool program, those costs are tax deductible as an ordinary business expense. One easy way to subsidize a VanPool program is to purchase vouchers through TARC's Commuter Check program. Commuter Check vouchers can be purchased in varying denominations and given to your employees. Your employees will then send these vouchers in to Ticket To Ride to pay for their monthly VanPool fare.

Fares are based on 21 work/commute days per month and fuel estimated at $4.00/gallon. The van driver is excluded from this passenger count.
